Positive Force

Behind any great movement are individuals and organizations who passionately believe in the mission. A large part of their success is determined by their ability to recruit, educate and mobilize others to join their cause. If successful, these “change agents” become a powerful force, in our case a Positive Force.

The Positive Force started in 1995 when San Diego Chargers’ place kicker, John Carney, co-founded Always Positive. John began to assemble a group of professional athletes with strong moral character who embraced their responsibility as role models to promote the Always Positive message. These “influencers” self-identified with the Always Positive core values of courage, character and commitment and began to spread the message to their sphere of influence. It wasn’t long before Always Positive began popping up on national television with NFL, NBA and Major League Baseball players wearing the message. Since then Always Positive has made its way from the celebrity to the general public through individuals in business, education, non-profits and government who also want to be identified as “Positive”.

The Always Positive Foundation consists of individuals and organizations who share a common bond to cause positive cultural change in the youth and improve the quality of life for future generations. As the Always Positive message becomes contagious these individual Ambassadors along with Always Positive Partners and Sponsors will generate a powerful force. The real power behind Always Positive will be a Positive force® of individuals and organizations that choose to use their time, talents, treasures and influence to inspire others to adopt the Always Positive lifestyle and motivate them make a positive difference in their community.
