Dinner With The Pros

The Always Positive Foundation announces its support of NFL players John Carney of the New Orleans Saints and Mike Scifres of the San Diego Chargers in making a positive difference in their community.

At Always Positive we are dedicated to supporting “Positive People” and their projects. When we find extraordinary individuals such as Carney and Scifres who have the courage to cause positive change and the character to live with integrity; we are committed to sharing their stories about how they are making a positive difference in the lives they touch.

Carney and Scifres will host the 1st Break’n the Walls of Jericho DINNER WITH THE PROS on Friday, February 12th at the Pamplemousse Grille to benefit St. Michael’s Center City Schools which aids in supporting tuition assistance, education, health and athletic programs, Mary’s Mercy Center that assist the less fortunate, Veronica’s Home of Mercy which cares for and serves the needs of adult pregnant women and women with children, prenatal to seven years at time of entry. A cocktail reception and silent auction will begin at 6 pm followed by dinner at 7:30 pm.

Carney and Scifres will be joined by celebrities Drew Brees*, Thomas Morstead, Jeremy Shockey*, Will Smith and Jason Kyle of the New Orleans Saints, Adrian Gonzales of the San Diego Padres, Junior Seau of the New England Patriots, Kassim Osgood, Mike Goff, and David Binn* of the San Diego Chargers, Steve Weatherford of the New York Jets, David Bueler of the Dallas Cowboys, Hall of Famer James Lofton and many more as they don waiter uniforms to serve guests a gourmet meal prepared by Pamplemousse Grille Chef-owner Jeffrey Strauss. Pamplemousse Grille is one of the top Five Star restaurants in San Diego located at 514 Via de la Valle, Del Mar, CA. (* Invited, not yet confirmed)

Former NBC Sports Anchor Jim Stone will emcee the evening, which features a silent auction and a live auction conducted by Scott and BR of The Scott and BR Show XX 1090. Also being recognized will be Sponsors for the event, EDCO, Fluid Disposal Company and Kim Blickenstaff for their roles in making a difference by supporting this extraordinary event.

This event is a premiere dining event in San Diego County, where guests have the opportunity to be up close and personal with their favorite football stars.
